A Cheboygan FM station swap

March 11, 2018 By Blaine

David Smith and Black Diamond Broadcast Holdings will do a station swap.  Mr. Smith will swap his Country/WWSS (95.3fm, Tuscarora Township) in exchange for BDBH’s Classic Rock WCHY (97.1fm, Cheboygan).  Each company will retain their intellectual properties.  An LMA will begin this Tuesday, and Radio Insight says both formats and call letters will also swap.  Finally, WCHY will continue their simulcast on WGFN (98.1fm, Glen Arbor) in the Traverse City market.
