Baraga Broadcasting’s Silent/WGZR (88.9fm, Alpena) applies for a new 1,500 watt facility (from 390 feet). The application specifies the same tower site as their CP granted in June 2016. The FCC recently restored two Michigan FM allocations, such that prospective owners may explore possible opportunities. The two allocations: 93.3fm, Onekama (it's along the Lake Michigan shore, 50 miles west of Cadillac) -- Class C3. 98.9fm, Lake Isabella (80 miles northeast of Grand Rapids) -- Class A.
